NAZARETH, (PIC)-- IOF troops kidnapped 31 Palestinian citizens most of them children during its military escalations against the Nablus city and its villages, shortly after the IOA decided on Sunday to release 90 Palestinian prisoners affiliated with Fatah as a goodwill gesture to PA chief Mahmoud Abbas.

Israeli political sources confirmed that the decision to release 90 Palestinian prisoners received a majority approval by the Israeli cabinet and it is subject to conditions including that the released prisoners should not have killed any Israeli and should be loyal to Fayyad's unconstitutional government.

In contrast to the Israeli goodwill gesture, Palestinian local sources reported that the IOF troops reinforced by a bulldozer and a truck to transfer detainees, kidnapped at dawn Monday nine Palestinians seven of them affiliated with PFLP from the eastern villages of Nablus and the Balata refugee camp after storming and ransacking their houses and took them to an unknown destination.

In the same context, the IOF troops had stormed anew on Sunday the Ein Beit Al-Ma refugee camp to the west of Nablus and kidnapped Ahmed Abul-Ezz, a Hamas member, and kidnapped Faris Mansour from the village of Kufr Kalil to the east of Nablus.

The IOF troops also kidnapped more than 20 children from the Quseen village west of Nablus after storming their homes.

For his part, Sheikh Nafedh Azzam, a prominent leader of Islamic Jihad Movement in Gaza, warned of the Zionist goals behind releasing the 90 prisoners, highlighting that the purpose is to create division in the ranks of the Palestinian prisoners, through differentiating between them, and to deepen the inter-Palestinian rift.

He called on the PA chief to reconsider his meetings with Israeli premier Ehud Olmert, saying "It is inconceivable that Abbas is persisting in those meetings while the IOA is tightening the siege on the Palestinian people."
